1. FEATURES INCLUDE

- A greatly improved audio quality
- Voice Mail lets you leave voice and e-mail messages to anyone with an e-mail address.
- Whiteboarding lets you share and edit documents, photos, drawings simultaneously with other users.
- File Transfer makes exchanging files as simple as pointing and clicking a mouse.
- Cross-Platform Capabilities let Macintosh and Windows users talk to one another.
- Call Holding, Call Waiting, Muting, Blocking, Caller I.D., and Directory Assistance
offer all the amenities of a full-featured phone.

2. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
----------------------------------------
To use Internet Phone, you will need:
* 486/66 MHz
* 8 MB RAM (12 MB recommended)
* Windows 95
* 32-bit Winsock 1.1-compatible Internet TCP/IP connection
(minimum connection speed 14,400bps SLIP or PPP)
* Windows-compatible sound card#, microphone and speakers.
# A full-duplex sound card is needed for full-duplex mode

Note: A 32-bit Winsock comes with Windows 95. You may be able
to use a 16-bit winsock by downloading and installing a winsock
utility from the following address:

4. HOW TO ORDER
Internet Phone requires a user license in order for the software to be fully functional.
To purchase a user license:
- Go under the Help menu of Internet Phone and choose Registration Wizard
- Click on the button Order a License.

- Go to VocalTec's website at http://www.vocaltec.com
5. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
-------------------------------------
To install Internet Phone:
1. Insert disk 1 into the drive.
2. Click on the Start button, and then choose Run... from the displayed menu.
3. Type the drive containing the diskette followed by :\setup.
For example: A:\setup
4. Choose OK.
5. Follow the step-by-step Internet Phone Setup instructions on your screen.
5. TECHNICAL SUPPORT

The Support Wizard:
If you need technical support, you can get help from the Technical Support Wizard
To open the Support Wizard:
1. Choose Support Wizard from the Help menu.
The Internet Phone Support Wizard window appears.
2. Click the Technical Support button.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
The Technical Support Wizard displays a list of answers
to common questions or problems provided by VocalTec's Technical Support.

* You can send a request form directly from the Support Wizard
to VocalTec's Technical Support Department.

6. SOFTWARE UPDATES
--------------------
For a direct access to download software updates from within the application do the following:
1. Choose Support Wizard from the Help menu.
2. Click the 'Update Software' button in the Support Wizard window.
Your Web browser will open and display the Update Software page from which you can download the
latest version of Internet Phone Release 4.
